Description

A pair of cottages dating from the 18th century, located on West Looe Hill in West Looe. The cottages are built of painted rubble with timber lintels and have a steep rag slate roof featuring 19th-century crested ridge tiles. There are rubble end stacks, with the left-hand stack rendered. The cottages have a double-depth plan with rear wings. They are two storeys high, with a three-window front. Number 1 has 20th-century four-pane horned sashes. Number 2 has a 20th-century two-light casement window without glazing bars. Doorways are centrally placed, with 20th-century glazed and panelled doors. The interiors have not been inspected.
