Description

The gate piers and flanking walls located approximately 260 metres south west of Kennal Vale House date from the early 19th century. They are constructed from granite rubble with square-edged dressed granite copings. The gate piers are round-headed and monolithic, providing a strong visual presence. The wide gateway is flanked by square piers and features concave walls that are also square in plan.
