6/184 Gate-piers, gate and flanking walls - at approximately 40 metres south west of Penwarne House

GV II

Gate-piers, gate and flanking walls. Circa early C19. Granite and elvan rubble with granite dressings. Wide gateway is flanked by square-on-plan piers linked to short lengths of straight walling which returns as convex quadrant-on-plan walling at either side. The gate-piers are round-headed granite monoliths; the walls have cambered copings. Wrought-iron gate is diagonally braced.
