Description
This building is a barn located on Bosworgy Road in St Erth, dating from the early 19th century. It features granite rubble construction with granite dressings and a scantle slate roof with gable ends. The barn has a rectangular plan and includes a long ramp at right angles to the front, which leads to a first-floor loading and winnowing doorway.
The exterior is two stories high and has a slightly irregular arrangement of two windows on the southeast front. A battered rubble ramp extends for a considerable distance to the right of the middle, in front of the wide first-floor loading doorway. There is a small doorway to the left of the ramp, with windows on either side and shuttered windows above. Under the eaves, there are two tiers of pigeon holes. The barn also features old, possibly original ledged doors, two-light windows, and window shutters. The interior has not been inspected.
