House Adjoining Gull Cottage On Left-Hand Side

This is a house dating from around the mid-19th century, located on the north side of The Warren in Polperro. It is constructed of painted and rendered stone rubble and features a slate roof with gable ends. There is a brick chimney stack on the left gable end and a large stone rubble stack on the right gable end. The house appears to have a single-room plan with an entrance hall to the left, but it likely contains two rooms on each of the upper floors. It has three storeys and a regular two-window front. The openings have painted brick segmental arches.

On the ground floor, there is a four-panel late 19th-century door on the left and a 16-pane sash window without horns to the right. The first floor has two 12-pane sash windows without horns, while the second floor features two 8-pane sashes, with the left-hand window lacking horns. The ground floor rises to the rear, which includes an alley on the left gable end and an entrance to the first floor at the rear of the left gable end. The exterior of the house is largely unaltered, and the interior has not been inspected.
