Description
Iolanda is a house dating from the early 19th century, constructed from rendered stone rubble and topped with a slate roof featuring gable ends. It has a rendered chimney stack on the right-hand gable end and a single depth plan with a passage on the left. The building stands two storeys high with an attic.
On the ground floor, there is a 20th-century stable-type door on the left, which is set within a 20th-century rendered open fronted porch that has a slate lean-to roof. To the right, there is a 20th-century two-light casement window without glazing bars, along with a two-light casement window on the first floor that also lacks glazing bars. Above, in the gabled half-dormer of the attic, there is a 19th-century four-pane sash window.
The interior has not been inspected. The house is included in the listing for its contribution to the townscape and is visible from the harbour.
