Description
This granary, built in the 18th century, is located about 20 meters north of Pentillie Castle. It features a timber frame and is hung with slate, topped by a hipped slate roof with ridge tiles. The structure is elevated on tall granite staddle stones and has a rectangular plan supported by three rows of four staddle stones.
On the front, there is a stable door accompanied by a ladder. The longer sides each have a central loading door flanked by small louvred ventilation windows. The rear of the granary also includes a central louvred ventilation window. The interior has not been inspected.
