Description
The well house at Pentillie Quay is a 19th-century structure made of slatestone rubble and granite. It is built into the bank at the rear. The front features a chamfered granite doorway with roll mouldings and a hood mould, along with a cast iron gate. Above the doorway is a gable with granite coping, which includes an inset granite stone displaying a carved moline cross and illegible initials. Steps lead down to the interior, which has a vaulted roof and a well located on the left side, accessed through a doorway with a chamfered granite lintel.
