Description
The well house, dating from the 19th century, is located approximately 4 meters east of Caervallack Farmhouse. It features a rubble wall at the rear (east), while the other three sides are open. The roof, originally slate, is now made of corrugated iron and is supported by two undressed granite monoliths at the corners. The well itself is covered with two slabs, and set into one of the slabs is a late 19th-century cast-iron pump, which has a moulded cylinder, a domed head, and a shaped handle. The original roof structure is made of unhewn timber.
