SW 72 SW ST MARTIN -IN-MENEAGE 4/217 Well house at approx 4m east of - Caervallack Farmhouse

Well house. C19. Rubble wall at rear (east), the other 3 sides open. Corrugated iron roof, formerly slate, carried on two undressed granite monoliths to the corners. The well is covered with 2 slabs and into one is set a circa late C19 cast-iron pump with moulded cylinder, domed head and shaped handle. The original roof structure is of unhewn timber.
