Description

ST ERTH CANONSTOWN SW 53 NW 3/220 Gate piers and flanking walls at - approximately 120 metres north east of Moorgrove GV II

Gate piers and flanking walls. Circa 1850. Dressed granite gatepiers and dressed granite copings to low rubble wall. The gateway is set back between quadrant-on-plan walls and square on plan piers. The piers have monolithic shafts and ramped pyramidal caps with ball finials (one finial missing). Over the right-hand wall is an old wooden dowelled fence.
