Description

Gate piers and flanking walls, built around 1850, are located approximately 120 metres northeast of Moorgrove. The gate piers are made of dressed granite, and there are dressed granite copings on a low rubble wall. The gateway is set back between walls that are quadrant in plan and piers that are square in plan. The piers feature monolithic shafts and ramped pyramidal caps topped with ball finials, although one finial is missing. An old wooden dowelled fence is positioned over the right-hand wall.
