Description
The gate piers and garden wall, located about 20 metres south of Moorgreen Hall, date from the late 17th century and have undergone some mid-20th century repairs. They are constructed of brick with sandstone dressing. The structure features two square-plan brick piers set on chamfered sandstone plinths, topped with a moulded stone cornice and ball finials. The piers are flanked by brick walls that are coped with stone and ramped up to the gate piers, which also sit on a stone plinth. The gates, dating from the early 20th century, are not considered to be of special interest.
