7/165 Tombchest of John Kitto, 6m to south of south porch of Church of St Ivo GV II

Tombchest. Circa 1749. Erected by John Kitto in memory of John his son, buried December 1749 and Mary his daughter buried March 1737. Ashlar slate stone with moulded slate stone lid. Recessed well inscribed rectangular stone lid with dedication around edge and verse in rectangular frame in centre with decorated panels adjoining.
