Description

Number 29 is an attached house located on Granby Hill in Clifton, dating from the late 18th century. The building features a rendered exterior with limestone dressings, lateral stacks, and a pantile mansard roof. It has a double-depth plan and is designed in a mid-Georgian style, standing three storeys tall with a basement and a two-window range.

The front of the house has a parapet with a moulded coping. To the left, there is a semicircular-arched doorway adorned with a moulded archivolt and key, a six-pane fanlight, and a six-panel door. The right side of the façade features a full-height canted bay with plate-glass sashes, along with six-over-six pane sashes above the doorway. The right end of the building includes a single-storey porch with a parapet that ramps up to the corners, a semicircular-arched doorway, a two-centred arched window with small panes, and an octagonal pyramidal lantern. The interior has not been inspected. Additionally, there are attached railings and capped piers as subsidiary features.
