Description
This is an arc lamp post located approximately 3 metres south-east of number 34 on West Mall in Clifton, Bristol. It was designed in 1888 by H.F. Proctor and is made of cast iron. The lamp post features a fluted base with panels that display the City arms, and it is topped by a foliate bulb. The shaft leads up to a foliate top that curves into a half-circle, adorned with curly brackets supporting the lamp, which has a cast flower. The lamp has been relamped.
