Description
This is an arc lamp post located approximately 3 metres north of number 38 on Caledonia Place in Clifton, Bristol. It was designed in 1888 by H.F. Proctor and is made of cast iron. The lamp post features a fluted base with panels that display the City arms. It is topped by a foliate bulb, and the shaft leads to a foliate top that curves into a half-circle, adorned with curly brackets supporting the lamp, which has a cast flower design. The lamp has been relamped.
