Description

This is an arc lamp post located approximately 3 metres south-east of number 23 on West Mall in Clifton, Bristol. It was designed in 1888 by H.F. Proctor and is made of cast iron. The lamp post features a fluted base with panels that display the City arms. It is topped by a bulb with a foliate design, and the shaft extends to a foliate top that curves into a half-circle, adorned with curly brackets and a cast flower at the lamp. The lamp has been relamped.
