Attached house. c1780. Render with limestone dressings, party wall stacks, roof not visible. Double-depth plan. Mid Georgian style. 3 storeys, attic and basement; 3-window range. A symmetrical front has pilaster strips to a moulded cornice and parapet; semicircular-arched doorway in the right return has thin torus moulding to the arris, plate-glass fanlight and 6-panel door with flush bottom panels. 6/6-pane sashes, 3/6-panes to the second floor, with timber-lined reveals; second-floor 8/8-pane sash to the right return. Rear elevation has a left-hand full-height 1-window block with 8/8-pane sashes. INTERIOR not inspected. SUBSIDIARY FEATURES: attached wrought-iron spear-headed front area gates and railings with urn finials and capped corner piers, and right-hand steps down to basement entrance. Part of a terrace with Nos 16-19 (qv), connected by a continuous cornice.
