Description

Number 15 is an attached house built around 1820, featuring brick construction with limestone dressings, rubble party walls, and a basement. It has a party wall stack and a pantile hipped double-pile roof, following a late Georgian style. The house stands three storeys tall with a basement and has a two-window range. A cornice and parapet adorn the top, while the right-hand doorway is highlighted by a semicircular brick arch with imposts and a key, an engraved plate-glass fanlight, and a six-panel door. The windows include six-over-six pane sashes with five stepped voussoirs, and three-over-three panes on the second floor. The rear of the house has a one-window range.

Inside, the entrance hall is divided by a semicircular arch supported by pilasters. There is a central dogleg stair featuring stick balusters, a ramped rail, and column newels, along with four-panel doors and panelled shutters. Originally, there was a cistern located at the rear adjoining the basement.

Additional features include the attached front area railings and gates, steps leading up to the doorway, and attached rear garden walls along with a former stable. The house was built against the right-hand house, which has since been demolished, but its ashlar flank wall remains visible at the back.
