Number 9A And Attached Area Railings

Number 9A is an attached house located on Sion Hill in Clifton, Bristol, dating from the early 19th century. The building features a rendered exterior with limestone dressings, a party wall stack, and a slate mansard roof. It has a double-depth plan and stands three storeys high, with an attic and basement, arranged in a two-window range. The house is positioned at an angle on a corner site, highlighted by a central angle pilaster strip that leads to a cornice and parapet, along with a first-floor sill band. The left-hand doorway is framed by 20th-century timber pilasters supporting an entablature, and it has a six-panel door. The right-hand side features a 20th-century casement window on the ground floor, while the second floor has horned 6/6-pane sash windows, and there are two 6/6-pane dormers. The property also includes attached front area cast-iron spike-headed railings. The interior has not been inspected.
