Description

This is a terrace of three houses located on the south east side of Upper Cheltenham Place, Montpelier, dating to around 1830. The houses are rendered with limestone dressings and have a roof that is not visible. They are built on a double-depth plan, with three storeys and a basement, and each house has one window per floor. Each house features a right-hand elliptical-arched doorway with plate-glass fanlights; numbers 28 and 30 have reeded transoms and six-panel doors. The windows are primarily 8/8-pane and 6/6-pane sashes, though some have been replaced with 20th-century windows. The buildings are topped with a parapet. The interior has not been inspected. The terrace is included on the list for its group value.
