Description

This house on York Road, Montpelier, dates from around 1820. It is a double-depth house rendered with limestone dressings, featuring a pantile roof. The building presents a two-storey, two-window facade, with the left-hand block set slightly back. The recessed section has steps leading up to a semicircular-arched doorway topped with a leaded fanlight and a bracketed canopy, with a window positioned above the entrance. The windows are 8/8-pane sashes, and the eaves are boxed in. The interior has not been inspected.
