Description

Montpelier Buildings is a house built around 1823, featuring scribed render with limestone dressings and brick end stacks, although the roof is not visible. It has a double-depth plan and stands two storeys tall with a two-window range. The façade includes pilasters, a thin cornice, and a parapet. The left-hand doorcase has a semicircular-arched doorway with a batswing fanlight and a six-panel door, situated below a window with seven stepped voussoirs. To the right, there is a full-height bow with eight-over-eight pane sash windows. On the left side, there is a low pointed-arched doorway with imposts and a split key, and the name "MONTPELIER BUILDINGS" is inscribed on the left pilaster. The interior has not been inspected.
