Description
Apsley Villa is a house dating from the early 19th century, located on Richmond Road in Montpelier, Bristol. The building features a roughcast exterior with ashlar dressings and brick stacks, although the roof is not visible. It has a double-depth plan and stands two storeys tall with a two-window range. Architectural details include pilasters, a cornice, and a parapet. The central doorway is semicircular-arched, featuring a fluted key and a 20th-century door, with a semicircular-arched window above it. There are seven stepped voussoirs above six-over-six pane sash windows, and a plaque above the door inscribed with "APSLLEY VILLA." The rear elevation includes a central doorway with flanking ashlar canted bays. The interior has not been inspected.
