Description

The screen wall and entrance to Stoke Cliffe, located on Park Road in Stapleton, is an early 19th-century structure. It is constructed from Pennant and limestone ashlar, as well as Pennant rubble. The entrance features a pedimented limestone gateway inscribed with "STOKE CLIFFE," flanked by paired pilasters and additional Pennant pilasters on the sides. The structure is completed with a coped rubble screen wall.
