House, now flats. Early C19 with C20 additions. Stucco with Pennant and limestone ashlar dressings, slate hipped and gabled roof and rendered stacks. Double-depth plan. Italianate style. 2 storeys and basement; 7-window range. A symmetrical front with deep eaves, and a later addition to the left; the shallow, gabled centre breaks forward, with 3 tall, arched recesses in a plain, tooled surround; door and overlight in the right-hand one. Plain windows with 6/6-pane sashes, and grilled openings to light the basement. On the left return is a Venetian oriel window with the original Roman tile roof. A rubble stone tunnel leads round to the right, to the rear terraced garden: the basement, beneath a vaulted ground-floor terrace, is glazed with late C20 sliding French windows. The ground-floor wings break forward, with a full-width cast-iron verandah and tripartite windows. INTERIOR not inspected.
