Pair of attached houses. c1840. Stucco with limestone dressings, pantile roof. Double-depth plan. 2 storeys; 3-window range. Near symmetrical front with an attached houses to the rear. A symmetrical front with a rear attached cottage. Central 2-storey semicircular-arched recess below a cornice and tall parapet, the doorway has a plain architrave and cornice, overlight and C20 door. C20 casements, blind to the top left. Ayr Cottage has a left side semicircular-arched doorway and 1-window range of cambered headed windows to 6/6-pane sashes. INTERIOR not inspected. With neighbouring No.15 (qv) an unusual form of semi-detached house.
