Description
A terrace of four houses and a public house dating from the early to mid-19th century, situated on Worrall Road in Clifton, Bristol. The buildings are constructed of brick and render, with limestone dressings, and have party wall stacks. The design is in a late Georgian style. The terrace is arranged over three storeys and generally consists of a one-window range, with the end houses having a two-window range. Number 18 is constructed of red brick. The frontages have doorways with scrolled consoles supporting a cornice, with plate-glass overlights and 20th-century doors. Number 18's doors are set to the left of a keyed segmental-arched carriage arch, which contains double doors. The front of the public house features a central doorway flanked by pilaster jambs, with a four-panel door and plate-glass windows, and likely incorporates numbers 24 and 26. The windows are mostly 2/2-pane sashes with margin panes, except for numbers 18 and 20 which have 20th-century casements. Internally, the entrance stair halls feature stair flights with moulded balusters. The carriage arch provides access to a rear yard.
