Description

This is a terrace of three houses, now used as offices, located on Grove Road in Redland, Bristol. They were built in the late 18th century. The houses are constructed of brick with limestone dressings, featuring brick party wall stacks and a pantile hipped roof. They follow a double-depth plan and are designed in a late Georgian style.

Each house has three storeys, a basement, and an attic, with a single window on each front elevation. The houses have a moulded parapet coping. The doorways are positioned on the left-hand side, with the exception of No. 4, which has its doorway on the right. Numbers 3 and 4 have brackets supporting a pediment, and include three-pane fanlights above the doors and six-panel doors. Windows have cambered heads with five stepped voussoirs, containing six-over-six-pane sashes. Number 5 has a 19th-century shop front with moulded jambs to the doorway and a ten-pane window. The interior of the houses has not been inspected.

Attached to the front of the terrace are wrought-iron railings with spearheads and urn finials.
