Description

A pair of attached houses built in the early to mid-19th century, located on Wellington Park in Clifton, Bristol. The houses are constructed of limestone ashlar to the front and render to the rear, with a concealed roof. They have a double-depth plan and are built in a late Georgian style. The houses are three storeys tall with a basement, and have a two-window frontage. The lower floor is rendered and banded, with pilasters that are wider at ground level, rising to a cornice and parapet. Two-storey porches with cornices feature C20 doors and semicircular arched side windows. The ground floor has tripartite windows with 6/6-pane sashes and flanking 2/2-pane sashes, while the upper windows are cambered and contain 6/6-pane and 4/8-pane sashes. The side returns have semicircular arched stair windows with margin panes positioned above the porches. The interior of the buildings has not been inspected.
