Description

39 and 41 Anfield Road are a pair of semi-detached houses built in the mid-19th century. They are constructed from stucco and feature a slate roof. The houses are two storeys tall with attics, each having two bays and two gables. On the ground floor, there are canted bay windows with hollow-chamfered cross windows and embattled cresting, which flank projecting paired entrances that have been converted into windows. All the windows are fitted with 20th-century casements. The first floor features 2:1:1:2-light windows with hollow-chamfered openings and label moulds, while the plain square attic windows complete the design. The rear elevation is similar and includes quoins.
