Description
The terrace, built around 1870 by E. R. Robson, is located to the north of a screen wall in Stanley Park. It is a long structure situated above the bowling greens. The terrace features a long sandstone wall with a rusticated base, small buttresses, and roll moulding. The parapet is weathered and includes three recessed panels in each bay. The central section has a two-bay rectangular projection, which is flanked by bowed projections that contain five bays between them. At each end, there are canted three-bay projections with four bays between these and the bowed projections.
