Description
Nos. 43 and 45 Anfield Road are a pair of semi-detached houses built in the mid-19th century. They are constructed of stucco and topped with a slate roof. The houses are two storeys high with attics, featuring two bays for each house and two gables. On the ground floor, there are canted bay windows with hollow-chamfered cross windows and embattled cresting, which flank projecting paired entrances that have been converted into windows. All the windows have 20th-century casements. The first floor features two sets of two-light windows arranged in a 2:1:1 pattern, with hollow-chamfered openings and label moulds. The plain square attic windows complete the design. The rear elevation is similar to the front, with quoins adding detail.
