Description
No. 8, Pipe Lane is a late 17th-century house, later used as offices, and restored in 1992. It has a double-depth plan and is rendered with a brick gable stack and a pantile cross-gabled roof. The two-storey building includes an attic and has a single-window range facing the road. The gable features a doorway on the left with an open timber pediment above it, and a plain door alongside a six-pane shop window. A four/four-pane horned sash window is situated on the first floor, with a recessed exposed frame, and a two-pane attic sliding sash window is positioned above. The interior was not inspected.
