Description

Orchard Chambers is a house, later used as an office, dating to around 1820. The building is rendered with limestone dressings, featuring a brick gable stack and a pantile roof. It is constructed in a late Georgian style, with two storeys and a two-window front. The façade is topped by a parapet, and includes a first-floor sill band and cornice. The doorway, located to the left of centre, has an eared and battered surround framing a six-panel door. A full-height canted bay is situated to the right, containing six-pane sash windows. Inside, there is a central hall with a semicircular arch leading to a dogleg winder stair. This stair has stick balusters.
