Description
No. 4 Dollar Street is a house that has been converted into offices. It dates from the late 17th century and has some alterations from the late 18th century. The building is constructed from coursed squared limestone and features a stone slate roof with no visible chimney stack.
The front of the house has one gable and is two storeys high with an attic, presenting a two-window range. On the first floor, there are two 8/8-pane sash windows with exposed timber lintels, and one similar window in the gable. The ground floor features a combination of sash windows: a triple sash with 2/2-, 6/6-, and 2/2-pane configurations, along with a six-panel door to the left that has a decorative overlight above it. A moulded string course runs over the first floor and above the window in the gable. The interior has not been inspected.
