Description
Kensington Villa and Cornworthy are a pair of attached houses built around 1840. They are constructed from limestone ashlar and feature party wall stacks along with a pantile hipped roof. The houses have a double-depth plan and consist of two storeys, an attic, and a basement, with a two-window range. The symmetrical front is framed by pilasters around the outer doorways, which lead to a frieze and cornice, and an attic storey beneath the eaves. The outer doorways are adorned with pilasters supporting a dentil cornice, an overlight, and a two-panel door, with later open porches added in front. The ground-floor windows have bracketed cornices and consist of 6/6-pane sashes, which are narrower above the doors, while the attic features 3/3-pane sashes. The interior has not been inspected.
