Description
The wall to the courtyard at Hurn Court is a 19th-century structure with rendered walls featuring quatrefoils around the courtyard. It has interval piers, some topped with urns, and panelled entrance piers with square caps and moulded cornices. A similar higher wall marks the boundary of the stable courtyard, which is also rendered and has a blind arcade of Tudor arches. The central entrance arch has been restored in a similar style, with buttresses positioned between the arch and the cornice above. At the top, there is a coped balustrade pierced with recessed quatrefoils arranged in groups of three. This wall is part of a group of listed buildings within the grounds of Hurn Court.
