Description

The Post Office is a 2-storey cottage, likely built in the late 18th century, featuring painted brick and a slate roof. It is two windows wide and has a central gabled porch made of timber supported by brackets. The windows are casements with original leaded glazing bars, and there is an eaves cornice made of stepped bricks. Two brick chimneys are located at the gable ends. The windows on the garden side are segment-headed. The west gable, which has no windows, includes a gabled timber trellis porch. Attached to the east are outbuildings with two gables facing the road, constructed of brick (some painted) and topped with a tiled roof.
