Description

This is a two-story terrace of three cottages, built around 1835 in Holdenhurst Village. The construction incorporates materials from the east wall of an earlier medieval parish church. The north, west, and east sides of the terrace are entirely windowless. The walls are primarily random ironstone, partly plastered, with quoins of brick and some grey stone. The south side, which faces the gardens, is plastered and features two windows and a central segment-headed doorway in each cottage. The roof is hipped and slate-covered, with two brick chimneys positioned on the ridge. Nos 21, 21a, and 22 form a group.
