No 5 on Christchurch Road is an 18th-century building made of red brick, featuring a string course at the first-floor sill and a hipped thatched roof. It has two storeys and two early 19th-century casement windows with glazing bars. The entrance is centrally located and has a door with a bracketed canopy above it.
