Description

The Red House is an 18th-century building of two storeys and four windows, with a blocked window space in the centre. It is constructed of red brick with an ashlar base. A brick string course runs along the facade, topped by a moulded wooden eaves cornice. The roof is tiled, and the original glazing bars remain intact. The round-headed doorway is recessed, with a round-headed door of eight fielded panels; the top two panels are cut away and glazed. The building is part of a group with numbers 9 to 14 Bordyke.
