Description
Minerva House and Minerva House Annexe are two early 19th century cottages that share a single roof span, located on Bordyke. They are not a pair and stand two storeys tall with a total of four windows. The cottages are constructed of red brick with grey headers, and the glazing bars are intact. Minerva House features a round-headed doorway with a blocked semi-circular fanlight and a door made of wide fielded panels, with three panels in each row, the top three being cut away and glazed. Minerva House Annexe has a doorway adorned with pilasters and a projecting cornice. Both cottages have an eaves bracket cornice and a hipped tile roof. The rear and side of the houses are entirely covered in weatherboarding, painted white, with modern entrances facing Bordyke.
