Description
The Ship Hotel is an early 19th-century building with a facade that covers an older structure. It features painted brick and a slated roof, standing two storeys tall with three windows, including a blank space in the centre on the first floor. The windows are sashes with glazing bars. The ground floor has a later, advanced facade with a central door flanked by windows. At the rear, there are 17th or early 18th-century gables on the cross wings. The Ship Hotel is part of a group of buildings of local interest that includes the Town Hall and several nearby properties.
