Description

This is a terrace of four houses, with a shop incorporated into number 5 and a flat above numbers 9 and 11. The buildings date from the mid-19th century and have been altered since their original construction. They are built of painted stucco with decorative cornices to the cross-ridge stacks and have a Welsh-slated, hipped roof. The design follows a double-depth plan.

The terrace is two storeys high and comprises a 7-bay range. Features include a plinth, a moulded band at ground floor level, and bracketed eaves that project slightly. Each house has two bays with a doorway on the left side. Number 5 has an early 20th-century shop front on the corner, featuring a splayed doorway, a moulded cornice, and decorative brackets, along with modern doors. The ground-floor windows have round-arched sashes, with number 7 retaining glazing bars. The first-floor windows of numbers 7 to 11 are 12-pane sashes interrupted by a blind window, while number 5 has a later canted oriel window and a window with an architrave in the corner.

The interior features moulded cornices, a decorative archway to the stair hall, and a staircase with turned newel posts.
