Description
The Moorings is a detached house dating to circa 1800, possibly built for the Somerset Coal Canal Company. It is constructed of ashlar and has a slate roof with coped, raised verges. The house is two storeys high, with a basement. It has three bays, featuring 16-pane glazing bar sash windows with a plain band above the ground floor. The central entrance has a 6-panel door, originally under a lattice porch that has since been altered, and is now sheltered by an ashlar canopy.
