7/220 Bridge over former Somersetshire Coal Canal at NGR ST 7564 6058 - II

Bridge over former, now disused, canal. Circa 1800-1803 for the Somersetshire Coal Canal Company. Coursed rubble with ashlar dressings. Single horseshoe arch with a plain band over. Ashlar parapet with end piers. (K.R. Clew, The Somersetshire Coal Canal and Railways. Country Life, 6.IV.1951).
