Description
Northfield is a house dating from the late 18th century, constructed of ashlar stone with a slate roof behind a parapet and a moulded cornice. The building has two storeys and comprises three bays, featuring glazing bar sash windows and a plat band. The entrance includes a five-panel door and a porch supported by Tuscan columns. To the right, there is a single-storey projecting conservatory from the 19th century, also made of ashlar, with a hipped glass roof and a decorative ridge, containing four to three lights with segmental heads. The property is enclosed by ashlar boundary walls, which are complemented by rusticated gatepiers topped with dentilled caps and ball finials.
