Description

Dean House is a house dating from the early to mid-19th century, constructed of ashlar with a stone slate roof. It stands two storeys high and features a three by five bay layout. The entrance front has a central six-panel door with an overlight that includes glazing bars. This door is flanked by Tuscan pilasters that support an entablature and a segmental pediment. The windows are sashes with glazing bars and have cill bands. A moulded eaves cornice runs along the top, and the roof is hipped, with a corniced stack at the ridge and another at the left end. The house is part of a courtyard development.
