Description

Moncks Cottage is a detached house dating from the early 19th century. It is constructed of ashlar stone and features a slate roof with coped raised verges and ashlar stacks that have a cornice. The building is two storeys high and has cellars. It has three bays with glazing bar sash windows, which have later outer shutters. The central entrance is a projecting square porch topped with a coped parapet and a moulded cornice, leading to a flush panelled door beneath a fanlight. There is a 20th-century lean-to and extension on the left side of the cottage.
