Description

The boundary wall to the road of Stable Cottage and Upper Swainswick House, along with the central gatepiers, is likely from the late 18th century. It features a rubble wall that stands approximately 7 feet high and steps down at the right end, topped with a moulded coping. The off-centre square gatepiers are made of ashlar and have a coped cornice, with ball finials on stems.
